Priced by our Quantity Surveyors.
Every build measured line by line from your drawings, never a guess per square metre.

Measured, not guessed
Every build we price is measured line by line from your drawings by our own team of Quantity Surveyors.
A Quantity Surveyor measures the work on the drawings, from the depth of the foundations to the last length of skirting, and prices each part. You get a detailed breakdown, not a figure worked out per square metre.
What you get from our Quantity Surveyors
Measured from your drawings
Your Quantity Surveyor works from the warrant drawings, measuring each part of the build in turn.
Every item listed
Foundations, walls, roof, windows, electrics and finishes are each set out as their own line.
Exclusions written down
What is not included is written down as clearly as what is, before you sign anything.
Options side by side
Where it helps, we price the same build at different specifications so you can compare.
Costed while it is designed
Our Quantity Surveyors work alongside the design team, so cost is considered from the first sketch.
Changes priced first
If you change something during the build, the cost is worked out and agreed before the work happens.
A price per square metre
- An average from other jobs
- Blind to your ground and your roof
- Extras turn up once work starts
- Hard to compare one quote with another
Measured by a Quantity Surveyor
- Taken from your own drawings
- Every part of the build listed
- Exclusions written down up front
- Easy to see what each choice costs

The price and the build match
Because the same company prices the job and builds it, what is measured is what gets built.
Our Quantity Surveyors work with the design team at CWJ Architectural Design Services and our site team, so the drawings, the price and the programme all line up.
Quantity Surveyors, explained
What is a Quantity Surveyor?
A Quantity Surveyor is the person in construction who measures and prices building work. They work out how much of each material and how much labour a job needs, and turn that into a detailed cost.
Why not price per square metre?
A price per square metre is an average. It cannot see your ground conditions, your roof shape or the windows you have chosen. Measuring the drawings means the price reflects your build.
Can you price drawings from another designer?
Yes. If your drawings and building warrant are already in place, our Quantity Surveyors can price the build from them.
What does the main price cover?
The main price is the construction cost to build to the approved building warrant. Finishing items such as the kitchen, flooring and decoration are listed separately.
