Drawings, 3D visuals and costing before we build
Before anything is built, we want you to be able to see what you are getting and understand what it costs. Here is how we do that.
How we work ·
Drawings
Your drawings are produced by our sister company, CWJ Architectural Design Services. They draw the project up properly, handle planning where it is needed and prepare the building warrant application. Because design and build sit under one roof, the people drawing your project know how we build it.
3D visuals
Plans and elevations are not always easy to picture. Where it helps, we produce 3D visuals so you can see how a space will look and feel before you commit. It is far easier to change a line on a drawing than a wall on site.
Costing
Our own quantity surveyors price the build from the drawings. The main price covers the construction cost to build to the approved building warrant. Finishing items such as the kitchen, flooring and decoration are listed separately with their own prices, so you can see exactly where the money goes. What is not included is written down as clearly as what is.
Working from the same information
The design team, the quantity surveyors and the site team all work from the same drawings and the same costing. That is what lets us give you one contract and one company answering for the work, from the first sketch to the completion certificate.
